Police also to conduct drives at casinos: DMP Commissioner

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam said that no matter how influential individuals those are involved in casino operation, they must be brought under law. Police will stricter and will conduct drives at casinos.

The New appointed DMP Commissioner told this to the reporters at his own office on Thursday noon.

He said, ‘Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has already started to conduct drives at different casinos. Police will also start soon. So, all kind of information, who are involved in the business who are going there, is being gathered. Such illegal-gambling will not be allowed at any place in the capital.’

‘We have primary information who are behind casino. They will be unmasked. They must give up the business,’ he added.
