‘Police stations would be centre of services’

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam said that different steps have been taken to make police stations as people-friendly. As part of the move, people are now getting benefits there. Polices stations would be centre of services for common people.

DMP Commissioner came up with the statement while speaking at a programme at Razarbag Police Lines in the capital on Saturday afternoon.

“All cases and general diaries (GDs) are being monitored from DMP headquarters every day. If any complain is found against any police man, steps is being taken after probe,” he added.
