‘Political will needed to implement SDGs’

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said political will is needed to implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

The foreign minister said this while addressing a conference titled “Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and Bangladesh” at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the capital on Thursday.

“It is not possible to reach the cherished goal of implementing SDGs without concerted efforts from all. The government is relentlessly working to implement the SDGs. It is necessary to enhance the partnership of all the stakeholders (private sector, government, business sector) to face big challenge like funding in achieving SDGs,” Momen told the conference.
