Probe report on Sagor-Runi murder case Dec 30

A Dhaka court has asked investigation officer of journalist couple Sagor Sarowar and Meherun Runi killing case to submit a probe report before it on December 30.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Debbroto Biswas passed the order as Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) failed to submit the probe report on Thursday.

On February 11 in 2012, Runi, senior reporter of private TV channel ATN Bangla, and her husband Sagar, news editor of another TV station, Maasranga, were murdered. Their only son, Megh, was inside their Pashchim Rajabazar house at the time of the murder.

After investigation by Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police and the detectives, RAB started probing the murders on April 18, 2012.
