Process to bring Jisan back starts: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzman Khan Kamal said that process to bring back top terror Jisan Ahmed Monti, who was arrested in Dubai, has been started.

He, however, could not said when it will be possible to bring him back as Bangladesh has no prisoner exchange deal with Dubai.

The Minister told this to the reporters after visiting a hindu temple at Swamibag in the capital on Saturday.

He said, “Jisan has been arrested recently. However, we are not sitting idle. Law enforcers have already started contacts with the officials of Dubai through Interpol in this regard. State-level discussion is also running. But we have no prisoner deal with Dubai. So, we have to keep it in mind.”
