Punjab prepare for Bangladesh national cricket team security

In the brink of hosting the first phase of the bilateral series between Bangladesh and Pakistan starting from January 24 in Lahore.

Punjab Law Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja ordered the concerned authority to timely arrange the fool proof security for Bangladesh national team.

During a meeting of the Cabinet Committee for Law and Order at the Civil Secretariat of Pakistan, the related authority conducted a fool fledged discussion about the implementation of security measurements when team Bangladesh will stay in Lahore and Rawalpindi for the scheduled T20Is.

Besides that, Punjab law and order officers would also ensure so that rigid security barriers could not obstruct general spectators to enjoy the game. Strict security will be applied en route to the Gaddafi Stadium and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and also around the aforementioned stadiums. Foolproof checking would be carried out at the entrance and exit points of the stadiums. After much hassle for several months, Bangladesh finally agreed to tour Pakistan and the full series will be conducted in three segments.
