RAB conducts drive at Uttara along with Shahed

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) conducted a drive  at the Uttara office of Regent Hospital Chairman Mohammad Shahed alias Shahed Karim along with him on Wednesday noon.

RAB Executive Magistrate Sarwar Alam told risingbd that the drive began around 12.00pm.

Earlier, Shahed was brought to Dhaka from Satkhira on a helicopter.

A helicopter carrying Shahed landed at Tejgaon Old Airport around 9.00am on Wednesday.

Around 5.10am, members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Regent Shahed from the border area of Satkhira.

On June 6, RAB raided the Uttara and Mirpur branches of the Regent Hospital on complaints that the hospital was issuing fake Covid-19 certificates, as well as charging exorbitant fees for Covid-19 testing and treatment of inpatients.
