RPGCL’s two GMs summoned

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned three people including two general managers (GM) of Rupantarita Prakritik Gas Company Limited (RPGCL) for interrogation for their alleged involvement in embezzling Tk 90 lakh.

Those summoned are RPGCL’s GM (finance) Babor Ali, GM (admin) Ruchira Islam and businessman Ashraf Hossain.

A summon letter signed by ACC's Deputy Director Abu Bakar Siddique carried the information.

They have been asked to appear before the anti-graft body on December 3 to place their statements on the allegation, according to the letter recently sent to them.

ACC’s public relations office confirmed the matter on Monday.

According to the allegation, Tk 90 lakh was embezzled from Janata Bank Rural Electrification Board (REB) branch of the company.
