Razakars’ list withheld, new list on March 26

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq said that the list of Razakars’ has been withheld. The fresh list will be published on March 26.

The minister made the announcement while addressing reporters on Wednesday.

Earlier on December 15, the ministry primarily published the names of 10,789 Razakars, who collaborated with the Pakistan occupation army in carrying out mass killings and atrocities against the Bangalees during the 1971 Liberation War. But, the list drew huge criticism.

Awami League (AL) general secretary Obaidul Quader said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina instructed the Ministry of the Liberation War Affairs to amend the recently published Razakar list that sparked squarely criticism across the country.
