Riad pledged to retain trophy

Yasin Hasan, DHAKA, Jan 10: Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) is going to run on Sunday. Aiming to topping the League, the Walton Central Zone incepted its practice from Friday morning despite severing cold and foggy winter.

In the first journey of BCL, Walton topped defeating North Zone. Walton hopes to follow the previous result.

Central Zone captain Mahmudullah Riad expressed it. In the first match Riad could not play due to injury but pledged to grab the trophy.

After end of practice on Friday morning at Mirpur indoor stadium, Riad told risingbd that last year we won the match. So we will try to keep the position from beginning.

Riad is happy with the current squad of central zone terming it a balanced team. I have fighting player in the top order and middle order along with we have strong bowling attack.

In bowling attack- we have Sahadat, Rajib, Shahid and Sabbir Dewan. Illias Sunni, Sarifullah also good fighter as spinners.
