Risingbd stands beside mother of two daughters

Country’s leading and popular online news portal risingbdhas stood beside the mother of two daughters, Halima Begum, by providing her with food materials for two weeks and cash money.

risingbd recently published a story of the miserable life on Halima Begum who lives with her two daughters at Rayerbazar in the city.

The story shook heart of the portal’s Advisory Editor and Executive Director of Walton Uday Hakim. He immediately issued instructions to provide food assistance to Halima Begum.

It can be mentioned that Uday Hakim has already extend his helping hand towards many helpless people in the country after knowing about their family conditions during coronavirus pandemic.

On behalf of Uday Hakim, staff correspondent of risingbdHasibul Islam handed over the food materials and cash money to Halima Begum on Friday.

Halima Begumlives on working as housemaid at different houses. But she lost her work due to coronavirus outbreak. As a result, her income also came to a close. Under the circumstances, she had been leading a very miserable life. Most often, she could not be able to manage daily meals for her two daughters.

Halima Begum said, “I have lost all my works because of coronavirus. I have got food help from risingbd when there is no food at my home. Now I’m very much happy and may Allah bless you.”

The food items include rice, pulses, oil, potato, sugar, soap, salt, onion, garlic, egg, semai, milk, poultry meat and other daily essentials.
