Staff Correspondent: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) is now taking their necessary preparations to hand over the BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed to Badda police station.

Maksudul Alam, assistant director of Rab`s Legal and Media wing, confirmed his handing over to the Badda police station on Saturday noon.

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the BNP leader from his Baridhara residence in the capital at 2:45am early Saturday.

Rizvi had been releasing statements from a hideout for the past few weeks. Earlier, he fled from Apollo Hospital where he was reportedly in police custody.

The BNP spokesman called another 72-hour hartal set to be enforced from Sunday morning.
