Staff Correspondent, DHAKA, Apr 18: After getting back her abducted husband alive, the Environmental Lawyer Rizwana Hasan expressed her satisfaction and thanked prime minister, BNP chairperson, opposition leader, law enforcers, media and country people for their support.

 

Rizwana Hasan, also the Chief Executive of Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (BELA) came up with the comment while briefing to a group of reporters, at their capital’s Central Road residence after getting back her husband.

 

“No any abduction is ordinary incident,” said Rizwana demanding no incident could not be happened like this any more.

 

“I have got back my husband in a hurry unhurt as we got the support from the government part as well as from the high profile politicians of the country like Khaleda Zia, HM Ershad and Roushan Ershad in this regard,” the Environmental Lawyer added.

 

She also thanked the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the premier took stern actions to get back her husband.

 

On Wednesday noon, unknown miscreants kidnapped Abu Bakar Siddique Litu from Fatulla of Narayanganj.

 

The Kidnappers released AB Siddique on Thursday midnight after about 35 hours of his abduction.

 

Siddique, who was working for Hamid Fashion in Narayanganj, was alone in his Sedan when the miscreants intercepted his car in his way to Dhaka from Narayanganj.

 

Rizwana, a lawyer in profession, won Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2012.
