‘China, Russia with Bangladesh on Rohingya issue’

China and Russia are now supporting Bangladesh in finding a permanent solution to the Rohingya crisis.

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen came up with claim at a seminar held at the National Press Club on Wednesday.

Home Media and Land Mark Publication and Production House Ltd organized the seminar on Rohingya repatriation.

“Myanmar depends very much on China and Russia, but they are now supporting Bangladesh. The two countries have assured Bangladesh of their support for a durable and peaceful solution to the Rohingya crisis”, he said.

During the visit to China, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina called on Chinese Prime Minister and President, and they assured her of their support for Rohingya repatriation, Dr AK Abdul Momen added.
