Rooppur Pillow scam: ACC summons 33 engineers

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday summoned 33 engineers over allegations that they were involved in pillow scam at the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant.

The watchdog summoned them to quiz about their role in the scam. Basically, Executive Engineer Masudur Rahman and others were allegedly involved in misusing power, irregularities and corruption.

According to a letter signed by ACC deputy director Md Nasir Uddin, the officials were asked to appear before the ACC on November 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13.
