Entertainment Desk: Looks like Saaho is already a winner as the film has raked in a huge amount in terms of theatrical release.
It looks like the makers of Prabha's Saaho has almost recovered the budget of the film by selling the theatrical release, which is in high demand across the country.
According to a report published in an entertainment website, the satellite rights of Saaho has been sold for a whopping amount of Rs 320 crore. Prabhas, in a recent interview, revealed that the film was made on a budget of Rs 350 crore.
Going by the numbers, Saaho will effortlessly turn out to be a profitable venture once it hits the screen as the film has created a huge anticipation among the fans of Telugu cinema.
In addition to that, the makers are yet to sell the satellite rights and OTT platform rights. However, there has been no official confirmation about the rumoured sale from the makers' side.
Saaho, directed by Sujeeth, is an action thriller with an ensemble cast consisting of Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay and many other pan-Indian actors.
The film was initially slated to release on the Independence Day (August 15), but has been postponed to August 30. With no heavy competition (as many films are postponed because of Saaho), the Prabhas-starrer is all set to dominate the box office.
