Sakib wants win in Chattogram

Sports Correspondent: The Bangladesh cricket team, led by captain Shakib Al Hasan, are now in Chattogram to play the one-off Test match against Afghanistan, set to begin from September 5.

At a press conference on Wednesday, Sakib said “Recently, we are passing a bad situation. We want to bring back our better days through a victory against Afghanistan”.

Earlier, the Tigers concluded their training camp with a two-day practice match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Bangladesh squad: Shakib Al Hasan (c), Soumya Sarkar, Shadman Islam, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Liton Das, Mahmudullah, Mohammad Mithun, Mosaddek Hossain, Mehidy Hasan, Taijul Islam, Nayeem Hasan, Abu Jayed, Taskin Ahmed, Ebadat Hossain.

Both teams are scheduled to return to Dhaka on September 10 before the Tigers take on Zimbabwe in the first match of the T20 tri-nation series on September 13.
