Sale of Eid advance launch ticket begins June 15

Staff Correspondent: Sale of Eid advance launch tickets will start from June 15 on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

Waterways safety and traffic department took the decision in a meeting at Sadarghat launch terminal in the capital on Sunday with its director Abu Jafor Hawladar in the chair.

Special launches alongside the regular ones will operate their service from June 20. The advance launch tickets will be available from the morning on June 15, according to the meeting.

People can collect VIP, first and second class cabin tickets on that day, the meeting said.

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) Chairman M Mozammel Haque and BIWTA Joint Director Joynal Abedin were present at the meeting.

Speaking as the chief guest, M Mozammel Haque said, passengers can collect their advance tickets from each booth of Sadarghat launch terminal. The tickets will be available from 10:00am to 5:00pm every day.
