Salimullah Medical College reopens tomorrow

Staff Correspondent, DHAKA, Dec 16: All academic activities of Sir Salimullah Medical College (SSMC) resumes tomorrow (December 17).

The decision was taken on Sunday following a fruitful meeting between the physicians, students and employees of the Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital on December 12.

The director general and other directors of the Directorate of Health and representatives of the Prime Minister`s Office also joined the meeting.

The Sir Salimullah Medical College was closed for an indefinite period on December 11 and services of the Mitford Hospital were severely disrupted following a clash between the interns and employees of the hospital on December 9.
