Samrat put on 6-day remand in graft case

A Dhaka court has placed expelled Juba League Dhaka South unit President Ismail Hossain Samrat on a six-day remand in a corruption case.
The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge KM Imrul Kayesh on Sunday placed Samrat on a six-day remand in the corruption case filed by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
ACC Deputy Director Jahangir Alam filed the case against the casino kingpin on charge of amassing illegal wealth of Tk 2.94 crore.
