Selim Pradhan put on 7 days fresh remand

A Dhaka court has put online casino kingpin Salim Pradhan on a seven-day fresh remand on charge of gaining illegal wealth.

Dhaka Metropolitan senior special Judge KM Imrul Kayesh passed the order on Wednesday.

On October 31, Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) deputy director Gulshan Anwar Prodhan, also the investigation officer (IO) of the case, produced him before the court praying for 10-day remand. The court fixed November 3 to hold hearing.  Later, Selim Pradhan was sent before the court today as he was physically ill.

Earlier on October 27, ACC filed the case against Selim for amassing illegal wealth amounting to Tk12.27 crore.
