Seven under home quarantine in Khulna

A total of seven expatriates, who recently returned from abroad, have been kept under home quarantine in two upazilas of Khulna city.

The returnees were from Singapore, Oman and India.

Among the returnees, five who returned from Singapore have been kept under home quarantine in Terokhada upazila of Khulna while two other of whose one returned from Oman and the other from India have been kept under home quarantine in Dacope upazila of the city.

Dr Sujat Ahmed, civil surgeon at Khulna, confirmed the matter to risingbd on Monday (March 16).

After examining them, it has been learnt that they are not infected with coronavirus, he said, adding that they have been asked not to go outside their respective home for at least 14 days.
