Shahidul dies after death of wife, son

Shahidul Kirmany Rony has died after death of wife Jannatul Ferdousi and son AKM Rushdee.

He died around 4.30am on Monday while undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the city.

The death toll of the Eskaton fire incident has now reached five.

Wife Jannatul Ferdousi died on Sunday morning while undergoing treatment.
She was fighting for life with 95 per cent burn injuries. She was an employee of the financial division of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

On February 27, a fire originated from the garage of a five-storey building on Dilu Road of the capital’s Eskaton. Three people including son AKM Rushdee died on the day.
