Shakil placed on 3-day remand

A Dhaka court placed top terror Jishan’s cohort Mazharul Islam alias Shakil on a three-day remand in a fire arms case.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahinur Rahman passed the order on Sunday.

Mohammadpur police station sub-inspector Morshed Alam produced him before the court seeking seven days remand.

Earlier, RAB arrested Shakil from capital’s Mohammadpur. Meanwhile, a foreign pistol and bullets were recovered from him. Later, RAB-2 inspector Mohammaded Hamid Khan filed a murder case.
