Shakil`s body taken at BIRDEM hospital

Staff Correspondent: The dead body of Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Mahbubul Hoque Shakil has been taken at BIRDEM hospital in the capital.

The body was taken to the hospital around 7.00am on Tuesday. Receiving the news, hundreds of leaders and activists of Awami League rushed to the hospital.

Organizing Secretary of Awami League Enamul Haque Shamim said Shakil will be buried at his family graveyard in Mymensingh after a namaz-e-janaza at Dhaka University on Wednesday.

An autopsy will be conducted tonight or tomorrow morning, he also said.

 

BNP Joint Secretary General Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon also went to the hospital to see the dead body.
