Shamim, Khaled land in jail after remand

So called Juba League leader SM Golam Kibria Shamim and expelled Juba League leader Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan were sent to jail after completion of their remand in corruption case.

Dhaka Senior Special Judge KM Imrul Kayes passed the order rejecting their bail plea on Thursday.

Earlier, ACC produced the accused before the court after seven days remand and pleaded to keep them behind bar.

On October 21, the anti-graft watchdog filed two cases against Shamim and Khalid.
