Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court here on Wednesday sent the BNP Vice-Chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury to jail in a case filed in connection with attempt to murder MP Chhabi Biswas.
The Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Shahriar Mahmud Adnan gave the order after a hearing in this regard, this afternoon.
The Dhaka court here on Friday placed the BNP leader on a five-day remand in the case.
The case was filed with Shahbagh police station.
Earlier at 11.20pm on Thursday Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested the BNP Vice-Chairman and he was taken to DB police headquarters immediately.
