The 74th Session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly is going to hold in New York. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the assembly on Friday afternoon (September 27).
It will be her 16th time speech in UNGA. The premier will address the assembly in Bangla language again.
The concerned sources said, climate change and Rohingya refugee issues will get priority in the speech of the Prime Minister this time. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also scheduled to speak on September 27.
United Nations (UN) General Assembly will be held as usual this time and will continue till September 30.
Foreign ministry senior secretary Md Shahidul Haque told risingbd that although the assembly will be started on September 17 but the main session will be started from September 24.
The Prime Minister will arrive New York on September 22. Details will be disclosed before the Prime Minister’s visit.
