Steps against Samrat if evidences found: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that steps would also be taken against Dhaka (South) Jubo League president Ismail Hossain Chowdhury Samrat if specific evidences are found against him. Nobody who is involved in wrongdoing will not be spared.

The Minister said this after attending a programme in the capital on Saturday.

He further said, “The drive is being conducted to establish good governance and to uproot corruptions from the society. Probe is being run against those are allegedly involved in corruption. They are being brought under law on the basis of evidence and proofs after investigating allegations. If somebody else is involved in wrongdoing, no matter how he is influential, steps will be taken against him. Nobody will be spared.”
