Sylhet Thunder batting against Chattogram in BPL opening

Sylhet Thunder are batting against Chattogram Challengers in the opening match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur of the capital on Wednesday.

This BPL edition is renamed as Bangabandhu BPL marking the 100th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. A total of 46 matches will be held in this tournament.

The opening match between Chattogram Challengers and Sylhet Thunder began at 1:30pm.

Earlier, Chattogram Challengers won the toss and invited Sylhet Thunder to bat first in the match.

Day's second match between Cumilla Warriors and Rangpur Rangers will start at 6:30pm today.
