TCB to sell onion at Tk 35 per kg from Monday

Amid the overheated onion market, state-owned Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) has decided to start selling onion at Tk 35 per kg across the country from Monday.

TCB published a press release in this regard on its website on Sunday.

According to the press release, considering the current market situation, TCB decides to sell onion at Tk 35 per kg from Monday (December 23).

The price will continue till further instruction of TCB, it reads.
