Tabith begins election campaign

BNP nominated mayoral candidate Tabith Awal, son of BNP leader Abdul Awal Mintoo, has started his election campaign for Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) polls.

He started the campaign from a mosque after Juma’ Prayer of Uttara 7 around 3:00pm on Friday.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir among huge number party leaders and activists were present at that time.

Mirza Fakhrul said BNP has participated in Dhaka city polls as part of release movement for BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Tabith Awal said, “I expect that Election Commission (EC) will work for holding a fair and acceptable polls. People are waiting for casting their franchises with much eagerness. I want all cast their franchises.”
