Tanveer’s petition removed from the cause list

The High Court has removed the petition of Tanveer Rahman from its cause list in connection with the murder case of journalist couple Sagor Sarowar and Meherun Runi.

A bench of the High Court headed by Justice Enayetur Rahim passed the order on Wednesday. 

As the state raised a question about the hearing of the petition, as a result the court removed it from its cause list.
