'Those involved with drug business won’t be spared'

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Benazir Ahmed said, "Strict action will be taken against those who will be found involved in drug business. Those having connection with drug traders won’t be spared."

The IGP made the warning while inaugurating a zonal police lines barrack at Diabari in the capital’s Uttara area on Saturday (June 27) noon.

"Drug is a social disease. Police, RAB and other law enforcement agencies are conducting drives against drugs to free the society from the disease," he said, adding that drives against the drugs will continue.
