Three die with coronavirus-like symptoms in DMCH

Three people-- two female and male-- died with coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Sunday.

DMCH ward master Abdul Gafur confirmed the development.

He said, “A 50-year-old woman was brought to DMCH on Saturday night. She passed away around 7:30am on Sunday. She found contracting with coronavirus positive.”

“Police took a 32-year-old youth to the hospital in critical condition early Sunday. Doctors declared him dead around 5:00am. He was found coronavirus positive,” he added.

Meanwhile, a 48-year-old coronavirus infected woman from Narayanganj was brought to DMCH corona-unit on Sunday noon. Later, doctors declared her dead.
