Tigers leave for India series

Bangladesh National Cricket Team left here for India to play a three-match T20 and two-match Test series slated to begin on November 3 in Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

Tigers, under the leadership of Mahmudullah Riyad left Dhaka around 3:00pm by a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Wednesday.

The players of Bangladesh team are seen in gloomy mood as they are going to play the upcoming series without star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan.

Mahmudullah said, "I will try my best to fulfill my duty as a captain. I will try to give my best when I get on the pitch donning the Bangladesh team jersey. Yes, they (India) are a very good team. But, if we can give our best as a team and make the small chances count then it is possible (to do something good).
