Tk1.4 lakh fake notes recovered from Shahed’s office

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered fake notes of Tk1.46 lakh from Regent Group chairman Md Shahed’s office in the capital's Uttara.

In a press briefing, RAB confirmed the matter around 3:00pm on Wednesday (July 15).

RAB DG Chowdhyr Abdullah Al Mamun said, the law enforcers seized fake notes of TK1.46 lakh from the flat. Meanwhile, some other equipment including a briefcase were seized.

Earlier, RAB’s executive magistrate Sarwar Alam told risingbd, the drive was started around 12:00pm at Shahed’s office. According to the information of Shahed, drives are being conducted. He has a school too. More fake certificates of coronavirus would be kept. Details can be said later.
