‘To face present situation is a big challenge`

Newly-appointed Director General (DG) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Professor Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam has opined that it is a big challenge to face present coronavirus situation.

The newly-appointed DG came up with the opinion after placing a wreath at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi in the city on Saturday.

Dr. Abul Basar said “If we are not honest personally, it is not possible to stop corruption. It is our big challenge to face the present situation”.

He said “If we talk about corruption, we are all responsible for this. It will be foolish if we only blame the government for the corruption”.

Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam was appointed as new Director General (DG) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on July 23.
