Top terrorist Jisan arrested in Dubai

Jisan Ahmed, the country's top escaped terrorist, has been arrested from Dubai city in the UAE. He was arrested Wednesday night.

This information was confirmed by AIG (National Central Bureau) Mohiuddin Islam of the police headquarters.

Jisan was arrested for carrying an Indian passport. Dubai authorities have informed Bangladesh that Jisan was arrested through Interpol and they are preparing to hand him over to Bangladesh, he said.

It is to be noted that Jisan was one of the top 23 terrorists of the country declared by the Ministry of Home Affairs. A prize was announced for his capture.
