Trade fair fire under control

A fire that broke out at a stall in the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) at Sher-e-Banglanagar in the capital around 7:15 on Thursday has been brought under control.

On information, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control around 7:42 pm, said Lima Khanom, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.

Reasons behind the fire incident could not be known yet, he said.
