Two DSCC officials sacked

Md Asaduzzaman and Md Yousuf Ali Sardar
Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has sacked two officials permanently over allegations of nepotism and corruption.
They are known as deputy-chief revenue officer (market circle) Md Yousuf Ali Sardar and additional chief engineer Md Asaduzzaman.
They were sacked on Sunday, a day after newly elected Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh took his office in the corporation.
An office order signed by Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh and secretary Akramuzzaman confirmed the development.
According to the office order, the sacked officials will receive salaries of 90 days as per rules.
