Two die with coronavirus-like symptoms in Madaripur

Two persons have died with symptoms similar to that of coronavirus in Madaripur.

Madaripur Civil Surgeon Dr Safikul Islam confirmed the matter on Monday (June 22).

One of the deceased is 62-year-old while the other 60-year-old.

The 62-year-old had been suffering from fever and breathing complications for several days and admitted to Madaripur Sadar hospital when the condition of the person deteriorated on Sunday night but died around 11:30pm, the civil surgeon said.

Besides, the 60-year-old had also been suffering from cold, fever and breathing complications for several days and died this morning (June 22). The person recently returned home on leave from Greece, he said.
