Two killed in separate incidents in city

Two people have been killed in separate two incidents in the city.

The deceased are Kaniz Fatema Tumpa, 24, and Shahidul Islam, 45.

Tumpa was stabbed by her husband Rabin in Kuril Chowrasta area, and she was immediately taken to Kurmitola hospital where he died around 10.30pm on Friday.

In another incident, Shahidul Islam was seriously injured as two launches hit him in Lalkuthi Terminal on Friday evening. He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.
