Two workers killed in Gazipur road accident

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: Two workers were killed in a collision between a vehicle and rikshavan at Kaliakoir upazila on Tuesday morning.

The accident took place around 6.00am near Nandan Park of Dhaka-Tangail highway.
The deceased were identified as Nazrul, 40, and Jarjid Hossain, 35. They were workers of a Walton factory.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Salna Konabari Highway Md Mujibur Rahman confirmed the matter and said a Tangail-bound cement-laden vehicle collided with a rikshavan, leaving two workers dead on the spot.
