UGC suggests students not enroll in some private universities

Staff Correspondent: The University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh has suggested to university admission seekers not to get enrolled in some private universities on the grounds of various problems.

UGC issued a mass circular on its website in this regard on Thursday.

At least 10 universities have been kept in its black list as they have no permanent campus.

Among the black-listed university, four are running with illegal campuses and avoiding the court order.

Among them, nine universities did not launch academic activities yet and two universities have not got permission of launching academic activities yet.
