US coronavirus cases top 1500000

Cases of the novel coronavirus in the United States have surpassed 1.5 million (1,500,000) with more than 90,000 deaths.

According to Worldometer, there are 1,507,773 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the US till filing this report. According to the same chart, 90,113 people have died from the virus in the US and 339,232 have recovered so far.

The U.S. has a population of about 327,200,000, which means about .45% of the country has been infected and tested positive. Because of the unknown number of people who may have had the virus and were asymptomatic or were not tested, that number could be higher.
