VP Nur attacked in DU campus

Dhaka University Central Students' Union (Ducsu) Vice-President, Nurul Haque Nur, and his companions have been reportedly attacked by some unknown miscreants in the Dhaka University campus.

General students allegedly complained that the leaders and activists of Muktijuddha Mancha attacked them on Tuesday afternoon.

Sources said, the university BCL leaders put barrier when preparation was underway to start a rally at Raju Memorial Sculpture. At one stage, Ducsu VP Nurul Haque Nur, social welfare secretary Akhtar Hossain, Bangladesh Students’ right council joint convener Rashed Khan and others were come under the attack.

Following the attack, Nurul Haque said, “We won’t allow to take any decision against the interest of the country. This autocratic government is the reason behind unstable situation in Bangladesh.”
