Verdict in trader Aziz murder case Wednesday

A Dhaka court is set to deliver its verdict in the case of Lalbag’s glass trader Aziz murder.

Judge Sheikh Hafizur Rahman of Dhaka’s Special Judge Court-9 fixed the day on January 14.

Abdul Aziz Chaklader alias Dhakaiya Aziz went missing after went out from his Dhaka home on March 5 in 1998. Later, his younger brother Md Bachchu Mia filed a general diary (GD) in this connection as he did not find out him. After 12 days, Bachchu filed an abduction case against Maksud and Amanullah.

According to the case statement, Aziz was dealing in broken glasses with Maksud and Amanullah. They had altercation over money transaction. Later, police recovered skulls and bones from Rupsa river during investigation.
