WHO suggests Bangladesh for emergency state

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has suggested Bangladesh to go into lockdown partially or entirely and declare emergency in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.

The experts of the WHO came up with the suggestions in a meeting with the outgoing mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mohammad Sayeed Khokon on Saturday.

A delegation of WHO and Communicable Disease Control and Protection (SDCP) of the USA sat in a meeting with Sayeed Khokon at the latter’s residence at Banani in the capital in a bid to check the coronavirus infection.

Sayeed Khokon made the disclosure while briefing journalists after the meeting.
