Woman lynched in Badda: 3 youths remanded

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has placed three youths on a four-day remand each in a case filed over lynching a woman to death as a child-lifter in the capital’s Uttar Badda.

Metropolitan Magistrate Dhiman Chandra Mondal passed the order on Monday after hearing in the case.

Earlier, Badda police produced the accused before the court and sought a 10-day remand for each.

The youths who put on remand are: Bachchu, Bappi and Shahin.

Meanwhile, it was learnt that another accused Jafor gave confessional statement to the incident before the court.

Jafor, Bappi and Shahin were arrested around 9:30pm on Sunday. Later, Bachchu was nabbed.
